I signed up but I can't see the feed yet.
Alumnite is a verified-membership platform. After you sign up, you'll see an "Awaiting verification" screen until an admin of your organization approves your membership request. The admin gets a notification immediately. If it's been more than 48 hours, ask the organization to check their pending queue — they may need additional context from you (year-range, position, etc.).
I'm not getting the 6-digit code email for two-factor sign-in.
The 2FA code is sent via Gmail SMTP to the email address on your account. Check your spam folder; the sender is no-reply@alumnite.com. If you still don't see it within a minute, tap "Resend" on the verify screen. If your code consistently fails to arrive, your inbox provider may be bouncing — email support@alumnite.com from a different address and we'll help.
Can I belong to more than one organization?
Yes. After your first organization approves you, tap the + on your Hub to discover other circles and request to join. Each organization keeps its own admin queue and its own profile fields, but your name, photo, and bio stay the same across all of them.
How do I delete my account?
On mobile: Profile → Settings → Delete account. On web: same path under the global account menu. Deletion is irreversible — your posts, comments, RSVPs, and memberships are removed within 30 days. Wallet passes you've previously issued will stop resolving immediately.
My membership wallet pass stopped working at an event.
Wallet pass QRs become invalid the moment your status changes away from "approved" in an organization (for example, if you're offboarded). Re-download the pass from your Profile → Membership card screen to get a fresh token. If your status is still approved and the admin scanner shows "not verified", ask the scanning admin to confirm they're an approved admin of the same organization — cross-organization scans intentionally fail closed.
I'm an admin — how do I approve members and manage my org?
Tap the Admin Console pill in your organization's header (mobile) or the equivalent menu item on web. From there you can approve / reject pending members, change roles, edit org branding, and manage shop listings. Bulk actions and the admin audit log are available too.
I think someone is abusing the platform. How do I report it?
On a post, comment, profile, or member's wallet pass, tap the ⋯ menu and pick Report. Reports go to admins of the relevant organization and, for severe cases, to the Alumnite team at trust@alumnite.com. If you're seeing illegal content or a credible threat, contact local authorities first.
I found a security issue.
